Ken Connor received his B.A. and his Juris Doctorate
from Florida State University in 1969 and 1972, respectively.
Highlights of Mr. Connor's lifetime of advocacy include serving as President
of the Family Research Council from 2000-2003, serving on Gov. Jeb Bush's
Task Force on the Availability and Affordability of Long Term Care, and
serving on Florida's Constitution Revision Commission where he was
recognized as best debater. Mr. Connor also represented Gov. Jeb Bush in
connection with the Terri Schiavo case. Further he ran as Florida
gubernatorial candidate with long-time friend and law school roommate, Mel
Martinez, in 1994.
Mr. Connor is licensed to practice law in Arizona, Georgia, Florida,
Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas,
Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Board of Trial
Advocates, the American Association for Justice, and the Florida Justice
Association.
Additionally, Mr. Connor has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers
in America and was recently named as one of Florida's "Legal Elite," a
select group comprising the top 2 percent of lawyers practicing in the
state. He is the recipient of the 2007 Daniel Webster Award from the Florida
Family Policy Council. He also has been named one of "Washington's Top
Lawyers" in 2007 by Washingtonian Magazine.
