Dr JEANNIE P. CIMIOTTI, DNSc  is the Research Assistant Professor, Biobehavioral and Health Sciences, School of Nursing, Center for Health Outcomes & Policy Research, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. 

Her doctorial dissertation was on the importance of Nurse Staffing and Healthcare-Associated Infections in the Neonatal ICU (Doctoral dissertation, Columbia University, 2004   She has 22 peer reviewed articles published in the academic literature and is a co-author of the recent article on ”Implications of the California Nurse Staffing Mandate for Other States” which was recently published in the journal of Health Services Research.     http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20403061
