Dr. Ben Yandell is System Associate Vice President of ClinicalInformation Analysis with Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. His group maintains the largest hospital quality report available to the publicin the U.S. Before coming to Norton, Ben was the principal assistant to the Commissioner ofHealth for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Beforethat, he was at the University of Kentucky, where heconducted research and taught undergraduate and graduate courses, including statisticsand research methods. Dr. Yandell holds a doctorate in psychology fromthe University of North Carolina at Chapel Hilland is a Certified Quality Engineer through the American Society for Quality.
